The First Americans playlist above contains videos featuring Native Americans. Much of the content is my own work but I have also included videos from other sources I think you might find useful if you want to discover more about the indigenous people of North America and their history and culture.
I am always looking for opportunities to capture stories of the people and communities with long ties to the indigenous people of the Americas. The people I refer to as The First Americans. The playlist above includes informative videos from other sources in addition to my own and is listed from the most recent to the oldest. I am including some samples below.

Watching kids riding sheep is quite popular with viewers from all over the world on Dusty Reins Stories.
I have grouped all the documentary videos to date on the Mutton Bustin' playlist.
I think this one is the most entertaining Mutton Bustin' rodeo event I have documented to date. Lots of good rides and a bit of fun along the way with an award at the end. Will views exceed the Saints' Roost videos? Time will tell with your approval. The video below is the uncensored version published on the American Heartlands Channel where you can see all recent videos that YouTube has not censored.
This is the most popular video on my Dusty Reins Stories channel so far that I referred to above.
The best group of mutton busters compete with lots of experience behind them as they had to qualify to participate in a national finals championship. If only we could have seen a bit more lively action from the sheep in many cases, there would have been higher scores.
Here are the top mutton busters who made it to the short round to compete for the national title in the last NJBRA national championship. This round has received fewer views than the video just above. Why?
Let me know which video you like best. Contact Us
Thank you for watching the videos, and for your feedback, I will add more to this page when there are more highlights to share.

Breakaway Roping is one of the fastest-growing women's sports in the USA today. Videos documenting the action from jackpots and rodeos are on this playlist arranged from the oldest to the most recent.
This is a timed event similar to tie-down roping with penalties for breaking the barrier and improperly thrown loops, but the ropers do not need to dismount. The tail of the rope is tied to the roping horn with a small string and flag. The stopwatch is stopped when the rope gets stretched out long enough to break the string. The fastest times are generally within 2-4 seconds.

The Chuck Wagons featured in the video playlist above are primarily used for cowboy cooking on working ranches, catering, special events, exhibitions, and cook-off competitions. No racing! Ha! The videos are listed from newest to oldest and they are located on Dusty Reins Stories.
